Surface Standard 11 (Refresher)

UNIT INFORMATION

This unit of competency suits people that are working in operational roles in surface coal mining. This typically applies to operational staff and contractors.

Refresher students must provide a previous copy of their Standard 11 Statement of Attainment to AMAST prior to enrolment.
On successful completion of the training program students will be awarded a Statement of Attainment for RIISS00034 Surface Coal Mine Safety Sill Set which includes the following units:

• RIICOM201E Communicate in the workplace
• RIIERR205D Apply initial response first aid
• RIIERR302E Respond to local emergencies and incidents
• RIIGOV201E Comply with site work processes procedures
• RIIRIS201E Conduct local risk control
• RIIWHS201E Work safely and follow WHS policies and procedures
