Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy

UNIT INFORMATION

This unit of competency suits people seeking the skills and knowledge required to use specialised equipment in the provision of resuscitation in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.

Students must provide a copy of HLTAID011 Provide First Aid as it is a pre-requisite for this unit.

Refresher students must provide a copy of HLTAID015 Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy, and/or HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation to AMAST.

On successful completion of the training program Students will be awarded a Statement of Attainment for HLTAID015 Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy (including HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary Resuscitation).
